About Me

Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience working in Corporate and at startups as contractor. Proficient full-stack developer with expertise in building scalable backend services (API services, architecture, and async mechanisms). Excellent track record in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of various internet-based applications.

I love learning new things. While solving real customer problems are often intrinsically fun to tackle, I'm most attracted to hard engineering problems.

Highlights

  • Orchestrated the migration of a monolithic ASP website to a modern ASP.NET architecture using WEB API and AngularJS, ensuring seamless integration and hosting within Azure platforms. Completed key deliverables punctually, actively implementing fxes to enhance performance and ensure operational stability. Redesigned database architecture to optimize query performance and prevent deadlocks, enabling support for over 1M records. Directed a team of 2 full-stack developers, aligning task priorities and providing technical guidance to ensure project delivery.
  • Participated on a JAVA platform for Boat Echosounder simlators, for fishings and marines schools in Argentina. This took 3 years to be completed and was made for my degree of Computer Engineer.
  • Developed a museum stock management system and implemented a PHP referral program for SaaS platforms using SQL and .NET WebForms, enhancing operational effciency. Conducted comprehensive penetration tests on web applications utilizing tools like Backtrack, Burpsuite, and OWASP ZAP, uncovering vulnerabilities through advanced methodologies, including SQL Injection and Authentication Bypass.
  • Knowledge of Ethical hacking and penetration test using intermediate proxies (such as Burpsuite) and OWASP ZAP.

Interests

My personal interests include:

  • Artificial Intelligence. It's an exciting time for machine learning. I'm currently taking online courses on Pluralsight and I've assisted to several IOT conferences.
  • .NET CORE. I like the path Microsoft has taken with ASP.NET and I am currently updating my stack to work with this new framework, combined with Angular 6.
  • Away from Keyboards time. I am from Uruguay, south of america, home of some of the greatest beaches and trails in the world. I enjoy spending weekends on beaches and if not around a beach, probably getting lost in the woods running or trekking.

  • The technologies i used to develop the sites were: ASP.NET, MVC, C#, AngularJS, JQuery/Javascript, ASP.NET WEBAPI, SQL SERVER, Azure Portal, Azure media services, Azure storages, Azure Apps, Webjobs.
  • Frontend programming: HTML, CSS, LESS
  • Backend programming: Domain Driven Development, GOF Patterns, Dependency injection in .net, Repository pattern, unit of work.
